CONCERT

Camille Music Hole

Written 30 November

Tuesday 25 November, 00:00
Le Zénith, 75019 [map]

I think we all know the score here... Paris' favourite musical daughter of the moment is back on the road touring her MaJiKer produced "Music Hole" album. As indicated by the title, the new work continues Camille's development of the human body as instrument, and the on-stage presence of Sly Johnson (beatbox), Jamie Cullum (piano) and Brazilian band Barbatuques should ensure as thrilling a demonstration of what's possible as was seen on her last tour.

Written, for the first time in Camille's career, mostly in English, and produced by an Englishman, the new body of songs is a concerted effort to enlarge the audience. Expect body-slapping, beatboxing, foot-stamping, mariah-carey-mimicking darkly humourous musical theatre.
