La Bellevilloise, 75020 [map]
Godfather, Foreign Beggars, Bar9, Geigerunit, La Secte Phonétik

A night of genre-crossing bass music spanning Detroit electronics, Dubstep, Grime, Minimal... all with the same thing in common - monolithic subs!

Each facet of tonight's sound is represented by the real cream of the scene: want Detroit techno? Here's DJ Godfather, the man behind Electrobounce.com and practically the founder of Ghettotech. Partial to Dubstep/Grime? Here's Foreign Beggars, specifically Bar9 and Vulgatron, one a shining light of UK Dubstep production, the other one of the most exciting rappers in London. On that note, if vocal skills are your thing you'll welcome the a-cappella wizardry of La Secte Phonétik. Finally, Geigerunit (a nuclear waste disposal expert and an ethnomusicologist) bring their radioactive minimal techno to the floor.
