Dusty has been contributing to Meaux based hip hop trio
Jazz Liberatorz for ten years, and 2008's "
Clin d'oeil" represents the culmination of a decade of active DJing, gigging and producing. A true nod to the roots of modern black music, the album assembles the warmth of 70's jazz and fusion and adds live elements from some of the finest talent on the independent soul scene.
Manu Boubli is one half of cosmic soul/hip hop crew
Rare Moods, whose Fela/Sun Ra/P Funk oriented deep beats have been supported across the scene, from
Gilles Peterson to Compost's Michael Ruetter.
