Jordan Wolfson was born in 1980 in New York. His films and installations combine characteristics of conceptual art with the poetic exploration of personal experiences.
Often playing with the idea of repetition Wolfson often transfers digital film onto 16mm film, using Icons from popular culture as common reference points to communicate with the viewer. This evening the artist will be facing the public, computer at the ready, in order to show videos as well as images and documents requested by the audience. Being able to discover what’s on Wolfson’s hard drive and enter into his artistic universe, this interaction will be an opportunity to enter into an open discussion with Jordan Wolfson.
