Originally designed to coincide with
Merce Cunningham's 90th birthday, Nearly 90², this outstanding production which features 13 dancers, will be followed by other programmes at the Théâtre de la Ville, in association with the Festival d’Automne season. There will be a retrospective of some key moments of Cunningham’s “repertoire” and a revival of his formidable Ocean, the collaboration with
John Cage and testament to his influence on generations of new dancers.
