Illustrator Elisabeth Arkhipoff’s new exhibition "Sport Hit Paradise" opens this evening. Arkhipoff provides her aesthetic, abstract and dreamlike pop art work for such companies as Swarovski, Anna Sui, and Vogue, and also collaborates regularly with musicians to create sleeve covers for DJ Hell, Tahiti 80, videos for DJ Mehdi, M83 and Japanther. For this project she asked 10 international musicians, including discodeine, satanicpornocultshop and baris k, to record a track for an imaginary band.

Elisabeth Arkhipoff created all the track titles and produced a series of drawings, collages and posters inspired by the songs. Additionally 300 numbered CDs of the first sport hit paradise album have been produced. An invite-only after party at le baron follows later with dj sets by Dirty Sound System, Trevor Jackson and Laurent Fétis.
