I'm A Cliché presents an extremely tasty lineup.
As half of
Closer Musik,
Matias Aguayo has contributed some of the most original sounds to
Kompakt's release schedule over the years, blending the labels staple minimal toughness with oddball avant pop and deep house grooves.
I:Cube (aka Nicolas Chaix) first came to wide recognition with his mix of Daft Punk's "Around The World". That was followed by the LP "Picnic Attack", the Faceball 2000 mix of which is a firm fixture on The Parisian stereo. 2006's almost-concept-album "Live At The Planetarium" is a leap back to mid-90s ambient electronica, but tonight expect the dubbed out Metro Area style electrofunk of his earlier work.
