Batofar have hosted some great NYE parties over the last few years, and this one looks set to hold up the standard. The surroundings are perfect for events like this - serious clubbing down below, drinking and chatting up on deck, everything else you can possibly imagine somewhere along the riverbank... and the lineup for this year's bash is right on the money.
(T)Ekël live is a bon plan if ever there was one - the tech-rock-house-hop monster they've created is now residing on a full time basis in top DJ's record bags from Richie Hawtin to Ivan Smagghe and Tiga, and they've been leaving jaws on the floor around the world - Click in Hamburg, WMF in Berlin, London's Fabric and our own Rex Club have hosted them recently.
We can rely on
Hot Chip drum machine operator Felix Martin to hit the right buttons. The last couple of years has seen his band release a DJ Kicks mix, storm the UK charts with "Ready for the floor", play to a rapt Glastonbury mass and generally become one of the hottest bunch of musical heads out there. Need we go on?
Also on the bill this evening: Tknik, Siskid, Daisy, Macross, Le Relou Crew, Tristan, Eric Labbé and Manu le Malin (aka The Driver), whose superfuelled near-hardcore style is sure to crank things up to 11.
