Vasco Araújo's video piece "Eco" is a complex character study involving six people around a table: a child, a woman, an adolescent man, two adult men, and an older man. Through his meticulous management of the scene and the relationships presented within it, Araújo constructs a representation of a single mind, each character confronting and conflicting with the others just as one person's impulses, hopes and fears combine to form an identity.
