Julien Langendorff

The work of Julien Langendorff is principally through design, collage and video, often referencing the counter-culture of the 1960s as well as the mystical imagery of the 19th century (Pre-Raphaelites…) With a new series of works on paper, the exhibition “Black Mirrors” portrays a dreamlike and mysterious universe. The glued, cut up papers create organic and abstract shapes, phantom figures and primitive rituals. Over twenty collages, designs, and painting will be exhibited in this new personal exhibition of the artist. The video Pillars of fire, co-produced with Jason Glasser will also be shown.
