Baltimore band
Beach House have been producing their distinct brand of dreamy indie since 2004, but it's only really with their recently released
Sub Pop album "Teen Dream" that they've managed to significantly impact the mainstream.
Their blend of
Galaxy 500-like reverb-wrapped vocals and detuned guitar pads gives their essentially alt/country sound an ethereal sense - a quality which fits nicely with the hazy pop of support acts
Papercuts and
Lawrence Arabia.
