Baptiste Debombourg and
Lionel Sabatté share similar preoccupations, which has led to a cooperative work entitled “Hells Angels”. Debombourg concerns himself with the volume and space in sculpture whilst Sabatté concerns himself with painting, and the flow of colours. Debombourg is interested in our use of daily objects and their function – packaging, cardboard, cars – from mass production to different modes of consumption. The conceptual tools are an artistic hybrid of designs, sculptures, photographs, and films; each project born from a meeting, a renewed curiosity, a minute observation of the most pragmatic and basic reality.
