Jackson Pollock

Written 30 January

Sunday 11 January, 00:00
La Pinacothèque, 75008 [map]

If the name Jackson Pollock summons mental images of splatter paintings and not much else, this exhibition will present you with a side of the painter you may not have seen before. Pollock was fascinated by Native American shamanism, the influence of which has never really been investigated in relation to his work.

Containing work not seen in Paris for over a quarter of a century, this exhibition is essential viewing for anyone wanting to fully understand Pollock's work and character.
