Ex-
Galaxy 500 duo Damon & Naomi have been pushing slowly forward since the band split, and have since put out some genuinely beautiful folk-rock moments. The Kramer-produced "Wonderful World of Damon and Naomi" (1995,
Sub Pop) ushered them back towards the stage, and subsequent collaborations with Ghost have widened their audience considerably. Their last two albums ("Within These Walls" and "The Earth Is Blue", both released on their own label 20/20/20) are amongst their finest work, all wide-screen arrangements and lush textures, gentle folk and ethereal ballads.
