Jérôme Bel brilliantly marked the end of the 90s, which called for a choreographic art capable of almost doing away with dance movements. It is a conceptual piece, but not without fantasy or humour. Twenty-eight young people combine their pure presence in a space full of memory and imagination. The very simple actions resonate with the flow of physical emotions, movements of the soul, gusts of nostalgia or shivers of joy that seize the audience upon hearing the music. This piece is now performed by ballet dancers from the Lyons Opera who come from a tradition at the opposite extreme of this radical aesthetic trend.
