La Cigale plays host to Canadian alt/indie quartet Metric.
As a clue to the band's style, Emily Haines and James Shaw (the band's vocalist and guitarist respectively) play with Broken Social Scene, and the latter is often associated with Stars, The Crystal Method and The Stills.
