Shit Robot (aka Marcus Lambkin) cut his electro teeth at Brownies in NYC, before turning a small residency else where into the now legendary "Save the Robots" night. From this launchpad, Lambkin went on to form the
Plant institution with Dominique Keegan, which in turn led to his collaboration with
LCD Soundsystem frontman and
DFA honcho
James Murphy on the Shit Robot party. Nowadays, Mr Robot lives in Stuttgart, produces for DFA and DJs internationally - his big room synth-led electrodisco is currently blowing up dancefloors worldwide, particlularly in South America and Japan.
