Palestine-Rogério Ferrari

Written 30 January

Sunday 18 January, 10:00 - 00:00:10
Institut du Monde Arabe, 75005 [map]

Rogério Ferrari was born in Brazil in 1965. He studied anthropology then worked as a freelance photojournalist where he also collaborated with several magazine reviews, press agencies and publications. This collection of photography is the result of a long stay in Palestine and in refugee camps from 2002 to 2008. The collection is part of a new work co-edited by publishers “le passager clandestin” and the booksellers “Envie de lire”, title of a collection of photography books devoted to people fighting for their land. Ferrari’s work demonstrates human tenacity when faced with difficult circumstances.
