This masterpiece of electro acoustic music, composed by
Jonathon Harvey in 1980 at Ircam, electronically mixes vocals with harmonics from the bells of Winchester cathedral. Thirty years after the creation of the initial work, Visual Kitchen has created an installation intrinsically linked to the sonic play of Mortuos. The viewer is invited to become an element of a video tableau projected on to the square surface of the floor.
