Bass music men of the moment
Chase & Status are on fire. If you know who they are, you'll be at this party. If you haven't had the privilege, allow us to fill you in. Saul Milton and Will Kennard started DJing together fifteen years ago, and quickly moved into production. Their first couple of releases - the breaks tunes "Wise up" and "Tricky", both released on Zinc's
Bingo label - quickly drew attention to the pair. They built a home studio and produced their first drum 'n' bass track in 2004 for
Renegade Hardware.
Last year was the big one for Saul and Will, with their debut album smashing the UK dance charts and etching their name firmly on the crossover leaderboard. The future is looking very bright for Chase & Status.
