Sky Larkin have had an eventful time since the release of their debut album "The Golden Spike" on
Wichita last year. Their sound - a trans-atlantic blend of alt/punk with hints of
Pavement,
Delta 5 and close musical relations to
Los Campesinos! and
Dananananaykroyd - is powered by the ridiculously tight and energetic output of Doug Adams' bass and Nestor Matthews' drums, as Katie Harkin lays waves of noisy, harmonic guitar and vocals over the mix.
