For his exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo, shifting logics specific to use, language or representation, toying with scale and analogy, contrasting plan and volume, surface and space,
Eric Tabuchi reconfigures reality so as to better highlight its absurd or strange, plastic or political dimensions.
Winner of the Lafayette Prize,
Carol Bove presents work at the Palais de Tokyo entitled La traversée difficile (The difficult crossing). In the manner of a cabinet of curiosities; mixing together history, natural history and art history dating from the 16th century, this exhibition releases itself from the bonds of scientific and fantastic categorisation, subjecting its elements to a strange redefinition.
