Aeroplane's Vito de Luca has come in for some serious criticism since his co-pilot ejected earlier this year, making the band a one-man project. Luca has expanded the sound considerably, incorporating a wide range of influences from blues to yacht rock, and the restrained electropop of the previous releases is certainly buried. Still, the sheer ambition and forward motion of the release is exactly what the band needed - you can't live on a handful of Ibiza hits forever.
That said, we'll be bouncing off the walls if they drop Caramellas...
