Considered as one of the first documentary films made, Nanook of the North (1922) is the chronicles of the life of an Inuit family in the Canadian Arctic and was directed by Robert Flaherty, creator of a new genre of docu-fiction. Vincent Epplay, musician and Sébastien Roux, young French composer, have created an experimental musical score to accompany this masterpiece of silent cinema.
