Another date in the Centre Pompidou's
Werner Schroeter series (see Thursday), with two showings today. At 15h there's "Salomé", the story of the original femme fatale who demanded of Herod the head of John The Baptist. At 17h, it's over to the bard as Schroeter turns his hand to "the Scottish play", drawing on the original text and on Verdi's libretto.
