Unfortunately not now featuring west coast Dilla-esque golden boy
Flying Lotus, but gladly welcoming
Thieves Like Us in his place. The Swedish/New York trio, now living in Paris - and it shows. The geographical influences are clear, from the clearly krautrock inspired "Your Heart Feels" to the new romantic disco-not-disco hot-chip-ish "Miss You" and the distinctly Phoenix-like "Drugs in My Body". The pool of influences is much wider, though, from Bowie to Herve via Factory, and with remixes from Jim Starck and the Bang Gang Deejays the remit expands further.

Esser, arts-and-crafts-esque song mastery from Johannesburg duo
Dear Reader and brutally chopped, seriously warped eletro-hop (rave-hop? Wonk funk? Wunk?) of
Debruit, who in our humble opinion are worth showing up for on their own. Genuinely unpredictable music, a la Flying Lotus, Rustie or Dorian Concept. Highly recommended.
