Tuesday 03 February, 19:00Point Ephémère, 75010 [map]
An evening of cross-media experimental art. Creator of the
ATAK collective Keiichiro Shibuya, famed for his super-complex sonic structural developments and rich tonal layering, will be showcasing his new work. He's been working on building musical forms based on passing pedestrians for the past year, since the success of his solo debut "ATAK000".
Tonight's guests are equally as distiguished. Saint-Étienne resident
Laurent Chambert presents "Eureka", an electroacoustic piece with accompanying visual element originally composed for the Dedans/dehors exhibition at the Chateau de Lacaze last summer.
Dmitry Gelfand and Evelina Domnitch's installations- usually in the form of full-immersion environments- mix scientific, artistic and philosophical perspectives, bypassing recorded media to bring the experience direct to your senses. Finally, found-sound artist and Port label boss
Evala exhibits his contrasting, intricate sound designs.
