CONCERT

Monotix

Written 30 January

Wednesday 23 February, 19:00
La Maroquinerie, 75020 [map]
Monotonix, The Legendary Tiger Man, Bloodshot Bill, Jake La Botz

Why are Monotonix constantly on tour, you ask? Well, there's the small fact that they've been banned from playing in most venues in Tel Aviv. There's the continued support from such luminaries as Silver Jews. There's the quite reasonable assertion that every show they play, without fail, is rammed to the rafters. Then there's the normal logic that they're promoting their third album, "Not Yet", which came out last month on Drag City.

Finally, there's the unavoidable fact that if they weren't on tour, crowds would be denied incredible performances like this one is bound to be. That enough reasons for you?
