Fifteen years after his death, this intimate documentary by Jean-Luc Depreux and Marc Lawton carefully retraces the path of dancer, choreographer and artist Lari Leong. Punctuated by a few extracts of his most beautiful creations, it tries to revive the memory of this enigmatic artist, whose work remains unknown. Through touching testimonies, dancers, choreographers and friends try to find the right words to evoke the character, life and influence of this mysterious cult figure. The result is an unearthing of a many-faceted character - juxtapositions of modern and ancient, monastery and metropolis, vanity and meditation make up a complex identity study, whilst simply filmed documents of his fluid style and graceful movement make this piece both fascinating and beautiful.
