It's easy to tar all legacy tours with the same stinky brush. There are so many bands reforming for pension reasons, it's difficult to see past that when one of your favourites ends up back on the road. Belle & Sebastian are different though - brushing aside the fact that they never really went away anyway, their pop authority shines through at every appearance, whether curating ATP, firing out stunning solo projects and collaborations or pulling off sold-out world tours with all the hype and cool of this week's new thing.
