Didier Faustino signed his entry into the architechtural world with the maxim "Faire de l'architecture avec du sang, du poil, de la sueur et du sperme" ("Making architecture with blood, hair, sweat and semen").
It's this contradiction, or comparison, between the mechanics of the body and those of engineered structures which gives Faustino's work it's meaning.
