DAT Politics

Written 30 January

Friday 13 February, 23:00
Paris Social Club, 75002 [map]
DAT Politics, Duke Dumont, Bullion, Goldie Locks and Fulgeance

Bit of an undground interstellar lineup for this night, if such a thing can exist, with some of the most exciting current movements represented.

Formerly known as Tone Rec (on the Sub Rosa label), Lille band DAT Politics somehow find time, in between their extensive tour schedule, to produce some of the most original electronic music of the last decade. Somewhere between minimal house, glitch and concrete, the band has developed a unique style through collaborations with such luminaries as Kid 606, Matmos and Lesser.

You'd have to have been living in some sort of cave not to have noticed the genius (yes, I said genius) of the young producer Bullion over the last year. From his own productions on one Handed Music to his flawlessly beautiful remix of Mr Beatnick's "I Know All The Bitches", this chap is going places.

Expect qualilty support from UK grime maestro Goldie Locks, Diesel U Music winner Duke Dumont and the lurching glitch-hop of Fulgeance.
