Don't let the goth associations currently being bandied around put you off - Zola Jesus makes genuinely exciting electronic pop which draws on a wider palette. It's dark, for sure - but the self-referential onus on approved musical techniques which ultimately kills goth on a daily basis are thoroughly absent.
