Vincent Aïtzegagh, lives and works in Paris. He has worked as a graphic artist and independent photographer for Unesco. The exhibition includes 36 paintings created from photographs produced by the artist in the midst of an inventory of the traditional architecture of Quator for the Ministry of information in 1985 and in Cairo for Unesco. Monument, decoration and architectural detail are captured beautifully in the intense light of this eastern country.
