TALK

Eco-Energie

Written 30 January

Thursday 26 February, 19:30
Palais de Tokyo, 75016 [map]

In this evening's talk, Benjamin Cadon will be illustrating, by way of sound and/or visuals, the ways in which electromagnetic fields, at different wave lengths, can be captured : from very low frequency to GHz from our mobiles as well as showing different « alternative » uses : van Eck effect, research of free energy, non lethal arms, mind control and associated supernatural phenomenon.

Dominique Leroy is a member of ecos, a multidisciplinary project which leans on scientific research and cultural action in order to interrogate and put in perspective the interaction between technology, ecology and economy. He will be bringing his research and experiments from ecos – technical and artistic micro-experiences, including "Resonating with light" created by Edo Paulus.
Another current research project is ecosXchange, started by Siraj Izhar in 2007, which is a project of social and symbolic exchange, occupying an economic and cultural dimension within a community.

Laurent LeGuyader, electronics engineer will measure and display electric consumption and electromagnetic fields from everyday objects. This lecture will be from a discussion on the negawatt scenario: moderation, saving energy and renewable energy as a solution to the threatening energy crisis.
