Polish composer Kasper Toeplitz has worked with every musical research organisation you can name - GRM, IRCAM, EMS, CCMIX - and has collaborated with such experimental luminaries as
Phill Niblock,
Art Zoyd,
Karkowski and
Z'Ev. Other acheivements include the creation of KERNEL - a computer ensemble designed to interpret and perform electronic works - and
Sleaze Art, the guitar orchestra of which he is artistic director.
More recent works have sen Toeplitz move into AV, with "combined" pieces involving video and lighting. Tonight's performance follows this route, with visuals contributed by musician, photographer and artist Strom Varx.
