New York experimental rock outfit tour their latest album, "
Dear Science". The band's music spans genres as diverse as post-punk, free jazz, a cappella, doo-wop, soul, shoegaze and electro.
From their debut Young Liars (2003) through three acclaimed albums - Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes (2004), Return to Cookie Mountain (2006) and now Dear Science, (2008) - TVOTR have been fairly influential.
David Andrew Sitek has produced records for the likes of the
Yeah Yeah Yeahs,
Celebration, Liars and Scarlett Johansson, and co-produced the first LP for Dragons of Zynth. He also worked with the same band on a collaboration with Massive Attack for their upcoming Weather Underground album.
