CLUBCONCERT

Ninja Tune Night

Written 30 January

Thursday 12 March, 22:00
Batofar, 75013 [map]
Daedelus, The long Lost, Zero dB and DJ OOF

A night of Ninja Tune treats featuring some of their highest profile artists and a shiny gem in the centre in the form of Daedelus. From leftfield hip hop obscurity to indie breakthrough and general critical acclaim, Alfred Darling has blazed a bright trail over the last few years. His rave tinged experiments in layered sonic construction are sometimes unhinged, often danceable and always exciting. He'll be appearing tonight under his familiar moniker but also as half (along with his wife Laura, who has worked with Sa-Ra and Flying Lotus) of The Long Lost, a project which departs from the slightly insane vibe of his solo work takes a more melodic, delicate song style.

Bolstering the lineup tonight is fired up bass combo Zero dB, whose mashed up electro/jazz/latin style has become internationally reknowned, not least through their remix works for the likes of Hexstatic, Bonobo, Sun Ra and Nicola Conte.

Providing solid support will be Ping Pong agency boss, “Cinémix“ producer and Ninja Tune man in France, DJ Oof.
