Olga de Soto

Written 30 January

Friday 13 March, 20:30
Centre Pompidou, 75004 [map]

An eminently plastic, minimal and almost conceptual dance show which focuses on the imprints and impressions left by certain events or physical experiences and explores how contact, props, supports and visuals, tactile and sound observation can reveal our own body to each of us. After studying classical dance, contemporary dance in her native Spain, Olga de Soto continued her training at the prestigious National Centre for Contemporary Dance (CNDC) in Angers, France. Since 1992, based in Brussels, she has been researching choreography, partly in conjunction with the study of works by contemporary music composers such as Salvatore Sciarrino, Michael Jarrell, Kaija Saariaho, Stefano Scodanibbio, Frederic Rzewski and Denis Pousseur.
