Since the breakup of drone rock outfit
Spacemen 3, Pete "Sonic Boom" Kember has followed a number of paths. The most consistent and exposed of these have been the
Experimental Audio Research project (a collective of musicians including
Kevin Shields) and tonight's configuration, Spectrum, which departs from the experimental leanings of Kember's other projects and expresses a more traditional pop side to the artist. The ethereal, hypnotic foms of his previous work is not entirely absent, however - expect structured, repetetive, blissful audio tranquility.
