In town tonight are two acts from that mecca of pop rock - Athens, Georgia.

Multi-instrumentalist Vic Chestnutt has forged a consistent path through the various rock scenes of the last twenty five years. He has worked with Michael Stipe, Bill Frisell and Godspeed You! Black Emperor amongst many, many others, and his reputation broke through to the mainstream in 1996 with "Sweet Relief II", an album of Chestnutt songs covered by, amongst others, Garbage, Madonna, R.E.M. and The Smashing Pumpkins.

Joining mr Chestnutt tonight, from the Elephant 6 collective, seven piece Elf Power bring their melodic, upbeat lo-fi rock.
