Art Paris has become one of the unmissable Parisian events over the past ten years for the international art scene. A coming together of professionals from the modern and contemporary art world; the salon attracts a growing number of collectors and amateurs each year. The 2009 event is even more contemporary and international than previous years. 115 galleries from over twenty different countries will be presenting the best of artistic work from the twentieth and twenty first century through paintings, sculpture, design, photography, video and this year the comic strip has a place of honour for the first time. The photography section is boosted by 15 specialised international galleries in contemporary photography, coming together to present one of the most dynamic of the art world’s trends.
