Having settled into their new home at
Arts & Crafts,
The Stills released their last album "
Oceans Will Rise" last summer. It's a long stretch from their post-punk/new wave origins, more
Broken Social Scene than
Joy Division, with anthems a-plenty and a good dose of studio noodling (probably something to do with Greg Paquet leaving and the subsequent formation of the Tim Fletcher/Dave Hamelin double-headed rootsy rock frontman).
Their lush anthemic scapes should fit nicely into
Baudelaire's old haunt
Le Divan Du Monde.
