Tom Hill first came to the attention of the music world as one half of the envelope-pushing electronica duo
Wauvenfold. His solo project
Origamibiro, however, is somewhat different - there's not a chopped, warped beat in sight. Instead, Hill opts for soundscapes grown organically from his acoustic guitar, the output then being treated electronically to craft intricate, atmospheric textures.
Also featuring in the performance is video artist Jim Boxall, aka
The Joy Of Box, and supporting acts Drop Crossing and Satyro. The event opens at 4pm, but Origamibiro are on stage at 9pm.
