Les Spectacles Vivants and Hors Pistes have joined forces to present an evening with the musician and performer Genesis P-Orridge, famed for having been one of the founders of the industrial music group Throbbing Gristle, as well as Psychic TV and Thee Majesty. Born in 1950 in Manchester, he (she) is considered as one of the most influential artists of his generation; Marilyn Manson, Aphex Twin, Alec Empire and Nine Inch Nails count amongst his fans as well as the Beat generation writers, William S Burroughs and Brian Gysin.

The programme includes a preview of a documentary by Marie Loser about Genesis P-Orridge, transsexual, pioneer of the music industry, and a figure abounding in creativity who is difficult to pin down. The film is followed by a concert by Thee Majesty, music which moves between spoken word, soaring guitar, Indian percussion and digital fiddling.
