Ame, Maurice Fulton, Na'Sayah

A special one for all fans of the electronic output of Detroit, New York and Chicago. You can't get far talking about the musical stories of those cities before you mention Maurice Fulton - most famous for his hand in the production of Gypsy Woman by Crystal Waters, Fulton has been a dynamic force in the house and leftfield electronica worlds for two decades. The American ex-pat has a constantly busy tour schedule, though he has presumably had to take some time out to do some record shopping after his jealous girlfriend apparently sold his entire record collection last year after discovering an email from a female fan... ouch.

No less a driving force in the world of all things house, west German soulful tech-house duo Âme have been pushing house music forward for five years. Their deep but accessible sound has brought them wide acclaim, and remixes for the likes of Jazzanova, Truby Trio and Random Factor have secured their status at the top of the house pile.
