David Tibet at the end of the 90's, Anthony Hegarty's emotive, dark cabaret has grown wings over the last decade.
Lou Reed recruited Hegarty after hearing his "
I Fell in Love With a Dead Boy" EP, and a contract with
Secretly Canadian soon followed. 2005 increased the success curve exponentially - "
I Am A Bird Now" won the
Mercury Music Prize, and the rest is history.
