On the western border of the city centre, this stark industrial complex should form the perfect backdrop to an evening of experimental punk, noise and hardcore. Headlining the proceedings are San Francisco four piece
Triclops!, whose high velocity path through the last three years of their career has seen them release music on Chicago's SickRoom label, Brooklyn-based Missing Finger Records and the now defunct Gold Standard Laboratories, as well as supporting such alt heroes as
Melvins, Circle and
Don Caballero. Jello Biafra personally pulled out the stops to sign them to their current recording home, Alternative Tentacles. As the San Francisco Weekly put it: "The Triclops! version of punk rock destabilizes preconceptions with every twisted minute. Best live band in San Francisco? Provided you like your music unpredictable, aggressive, and more than a little bit threatening - yes."
