"ONI – Les Grands Désirs des Dieux" refers to the fantastic universe of writer Ryûnosuke Akutagawa. In an original and poetic composition by this unique dancer and choreographer, Shiro Daïmon continues his form of dance which fuses nô techniques, kabuki and contemporary dance with theatre and music. The precision of his technique places him at the forefront as a dancer, actor and musician, frequently working with such talent as Yôsuke Yamashita, Steve Lacy and François Rossé. ONI takes us into the world of illusion, primitive beauty and ferocious sensuality.
