Skullflower

Instants Chavires, 93100 Montre [map]
Skullflower, Vomir

Formed in 1988, and brought out of retirement in 2002 by charismatic leader Matthew Bower, Skullflower are one of the most important and influential British noise bands. Their style has evolved throughout their career - earlier releases drew influence from industrial and psychedelic scenes, forming a minimalist wall of guitar squall, distorted vocals and tribal drumming; later the vibe evolved into free form noise/jazz/improv, abandoning traditional song structure and including instruments like chinese horns.

Supporting tonight are the charmingly named Vomir, a nihilist noise outfit fronted by Maison Bruit label boss Romain Perrot.
